Luis Molina-Pantin (Venezuelan, born in Geneva, 1969) currently lives between Caracas and Mexico City. Solo exhibitions include Henrique Faria (New York); Federico Luger (Milano); Galería Marta Cervera (Madrid); Periférico Caracas| Arte Contemporáneo and Sala Mendoza (both Caracas). His work was included in the 3rd International Center of Photography Triennial (New York), 7th Gwangju Biennale (South Korea) and the 25th Sao Paulo Biennale, also participated in group exhibitions at Americas Society, Simon Preston Gallery (both New York), The Photographer’s Gallery (London), Kunstraum Kreuzberg/Bethanien (Berlin) and Galería de Arte Nacional (Caracas).
His work has been published in various periodicals including The New York Times, The New Yorker, Art Forum, Liberation (Paris), Bomb, Cabinet and Peter Sloterdijk’s Spheres III. His works belongs to important collections including The Museum of Modern Art (New York), Blanton Museum of Art at the University of Texas (Austin), Museum of Fine Arts (Houston), Patricia Phelps de Cisneros Collection (New York), Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo, (Seville) and Galería de Arte Nacional (Caracas).
